Pak-Man is a music recording artist who has been releasing projects independently for over a decade. With a catalogue of over 5 classic projects, Big Pakachino would be the latest and most important body of work he'd have released. Having worked with Pak-man for over 5 years and on previous works, it was only right KS Media delivered the artwork & marketing assets to complete the great music for the world to hear.
Pak-Man's musical foundations stemmed from the rise of early UK Street Rap in the early 2000's and till this day remains prominent with his sound voicing his early life experiences & struggles growing up in around the UK to South London, and boasts his now luxury life through his business ventures and music. The project was set to be his best yet, and he made it clear to KS Media that he was aiming for the charts this time, so we made sure this would deliver visually as it already sounded quality! There was optimism already as we got a early listen to hear the songs and it was already a classic from a few listens, with replay value.
Assignment:
Create cover art for Big Pakachino, and the lead singles with several marketing assets to push the exposure of the project upon release for his UK pop-up meet & greet tour to promote and sell the physical copies, merchandise and meet thousands of fans from all over. An overall music project campaign.
We were given 2 months ahead of the release to get started.
The pop-up store was a key factor in promoting the project & so this would be very important for us to work with Pak-Man to ensure everything looked consistent to the branding of the artwork accordingly.
Process:
Cover Art
A key figure in Hip Hop worldwide, Jay-Z is a big inspiration of Pak-Man's. His Black Album, was a reference point towards the artwork as he wanted to pay homage yet also let people know "Big Pakachino" held that classic feel the same as Jay's album did. Noted!
Pak met with photographer Pawel Spolnicki to take the photos for the album & campaign.
We started with the album artwork to be completed once the image were ready.
(Images Above: From reference, original photo, to final album artwork)
We then created the tracklist art and all social banners for Twitter, Youtube & Spotify to brand all his socials around the upcoming release.
Lead Singles cover Art
Once the official artwork was done, we had a foundation to work off. Everything would be based around this art, which we must say is phenomenal. Pak-Man approved and now it was time to get the art for the lead & other singles from the mixtape to be released prior to help with promotion.
In order, this was the release of the singles before Big Pakachino came out;
Ground Up
Life Is Real
Different
We worked on each three single cover arts which are shown below, with each video released alongside. Pak made sure the world needed to keep their ears and eyes to him, and made a vital effort to stay very consistent in the month of June leading up to July 1st when the tape would be out everywhere. Each week of the month he released a single on the UK's leading music video platform GRM Daily, which we had the pleasure of also designing the art & video thumbnails for.

Big Pakachino Pop-up Shop Meet & Greet UK Tour:
For the week the tape released Pak-Man wanted to do exceed expectations for his fans and visit 14 cities all around the UK for 7 days to meet his fans and sell merchandise and physical copies of the tape to also help with sales for the initial goal to hit the UK Music Charts.
The following was outlined to be completed in the last month leading up to the release:
14 digitalassets for each city to announce the tour, location etc.
1 Main flyer to promote the overall tour
A engaging visualiser to promote the whole tour
Branded assets for the van vinyl design which will travel around the UK
Visualiser to promote release of tape
Physical CD Body artwork & booklet
We got to work & created the above. The main flyer, physical CD & the 2 visualisers can be seen below:
All the work had been complete for this project, and on the first week of the release we exceeded the expectation of just hitting the UK charts, Pak-Man received his first top 40 Official UK Album Chart position at 37 and went number 2 in the Offiical Independent Album Charts! Plus many more accolades which can be seen below:
